3.1 Purpose
This Refund Policy explains when customers may request a refund and how refund complaints will be handled on VendorHive Stores.
3.2 General Rule
Refunds depend on the type of product or service, vendor policy, product condition, payment status, and the facts of the complaint. Vendors are primarily responsible for the products and services they list and sell.
3.3 When Customers May Request a Refund
Customers may request a refund where:
- The item paid for was not delivered
- The wrong item was delivered
- The item is materially different from the vendor’s description
- The item is damaged before delivery
- The vendor fails to fulfill a confirmed order
- The service paid for was not provided
- A duplicate payment was made
3.4 Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds may be refused where:
- The customer provided wrong delivery information
- The customer changed their mind after the item was delivered in good condition
- The product was used, damaged, altered, or worn after delivery
- The complaint is made too late without a valid reason
- The item is excluded from refunds for hygiene, safety, or custom-order reasons
- The vendor clearly stated a lawful no-refund condition before purchase
3.5 Refund Complaint Process
Refund complaints should be sent to:

Customers should include:
- Order ID
- Customer name and phone number
- Vendor/store name
- Product or service involved
- Payment proof where available
- Photos/videos if relevant
- Reason for refund request
3.6 Refund Review
VendorHive Stores may contact the vendor, customer, payment provider, or delivery partner to review the complaint. VendorHive Stores may help mediate disputes but vendors remain responsible for their own products and services.
3.7 Refund Timing
Approved refunds may take time depending on payment provider processing, vendor confirmation, bank or mobile money network timelines, and dispute review.
