1. Acceptance of these terms
By visiting, creating an account, applying for a store, listing products or services, placing an order, or using any VendorHive Stores feature, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the website or services.
2. Customer and store-owner accounts
- You must provide accurate registration details, including your name, email address and phone number.
- You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account.
- VendorHive Stores may suspend accounts that appear fraudulent, abusive, inactive, misleading, or harmful to the platform.
- Robot, automated or abusive account creation is not allowed. Human verification checks may be required before login, registration, store application or other sensitive actions.
3. Store-owner applications and responsibilities
Approved store owners receive a store-owner dashboard to manage only their own store. The main VendorHive Stores admin can still review, edit, hide, suspend or remove any store where necessary.
- Store owners must provide accurate business/store information, contact details, prices and descriptions.
- Store owners must keep products, services, availability, delivery information and WhatsApp contact details up to date.
- Store owners must not impersonate another business, use stolen images, mislead customers, or list items they cannot supply.
- Approval of a store does not create employment, partnership, agency, franchise or ownership relationship with VendorHive Stores.
4. Identity and business verification
Store-owner applicants may be required to complete identity, selfie/liveness, business or risk checks through Persona or another recognized third-party verification provider. VendorHive Stores may store verification references, statuses and application details for review and compliance purposes.
- Passing verification does not automatically guarantee approval.
- Failed, incomplete, suspicious or inconsistent verification may lead to rejection or review.
- VendorHive Stores may request extra information before approving or keeping a store live.
5. Orders, delivery and customer communication
Customers can place orders or enquiries through the website, checkout, store pages or WhatsApp links depending on the store type. Order confirmation, delivery timing and product/service fulfilment may vary by store.
- Customers should confirm product/service details, size, quantity, price and location before payment or delivery.
- Store owners are responsible for fulfilling orders and handling store-specific customer questions.
- VendorHive Stores may assist with order tracking, dispute review or support, but does not guarantee every product or service supplied by third-party store owners.
6. Payments, refunds and chargebacks
Payment methods may include Mobile Money, card, bank transfer, cash on delivery or WhatsApp-arranged payment depending on how the platform is configured. Refunds, exchanges and cancellations depend on the product/service, store policy, customer proof and VendorHive Stores review.
- Customers must not submit false chargebacks or fraudulent payment claims.
- Store owners must cooperate with refund, exchange, failed delivery and dispute investigations.
- VendorHive Stores may hold, reverse or delay payouts where fraud, failed delivery, customer disputes or policy breaches are suspected.
7. Platform fees and payouts
VendorHive Stores may charge service, tax, commission, subscription, listing, payout or promotional fees. Fee structures may change as the marketplace grows. Store owners will be informed of major fee changes where practical.
8. Prohibited products, services and conduct
Users and store owners must not list, promote, request or sell illegal, unsafe, counterfeit, stolen, misleading, abusive or restricted items or services. This includes products or services that break Ghanaian law, payment rules, intellectual-property rights, safety rules or marketplace policy.
- No scams, fake proof of payment, fake delivery confirmation, stolen images or impersonation.
- No harassment, hate speech, threats, abuse or exploitation of customers or store owners.
- No attempt to bypass platform fees, verification, security checks or admin review.
9. Store content, images and intellectual property
Store owners confirm they have the right to use all names, logos, photos, product descriptions and content they submit. By submitting content, store owners allow VendorHive Stores to display, format, resize, promote and use the content for marketplace operations and marketing.
10. Privacy and data
VendorHive Stores may collect account details, store application details, order information, device/security data and verification statuses for operating the website, preventing fraud, managing accounts, fulfilling orders and reviewing store applications. Third-party verification providers may collect and process identity data under their own terms and privacy policies.
11. Limitation of liability
VendorHive Stores will work to keep the platform useful and safe, but the website is provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent allowed by law, VendorHive Stores is not responsible for indirect losses, lost profits, loss of data, third-party store failures, delays, product quality disputes, or issues caused by external providers, networks, payment processors, hosting platforms or verification services.
12. Changes to these terms
VendorHive Stores may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the website after changes means you accept the updated terms.
